Michael Welz

Born 1953 in Skelleftea, Sweden to an Austrian father and a Chech-Jewish mother. His father Ferdinand Welz was a sculptor and university professor. The family settled in Vienna, Austria in 1955. After earning his master's degree at the Academy of fine Arts Michael Welz began his acting career in theaters and movies. He is member of the bernhard-ensemble since 2009. Two sons: Oskar Welz and flight captain Maximilian Hirn MSc
