Alex Tyson

Alex Tyson is an American film editor, director and artist based in Los Angeles, CA. He works with non-linear editing programs, text and multi-channel sound. He has produced and collaborated on artist projects at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Hammer Museum, and The Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art. His art direction for the Oscar-nominated and Emmy winning documentary Gasland earned him a 2011 Cinema Eye Honor. He is actively producing and directing non-fiction films, while co-curating Data Garden, an arts agency he co-founded in 2010.
