Biography

Luísa Sequeira is Portuguese film director and festival curator. She studied journalism, photography and specialized in directing documentaries, starting her career in Mozambique, She worked at RTP on Portuguese TV for ten years and in several projects, including Fotograma, A television TV series dedicated to the promotion of cinema. . Since 2010 she is executive producer and artistic director of the Shortcutz Porto ( Short film festival), she also organizes Super 9 Mobile Film Fest, exclusively dedicated to mobile film. Author and director of "Porto seam Nó", winner of the entertainment program category in the 2011 edition of Pilots Competitive Exhibition in Rio De Janeiro . In 2014 she co-directed with plastic artist Sama, the animation experimental TV series Motel Sama, for Canal Brazil.
