JoNae Villeneuve

JoNae Villeneuve was born in Fairmont, Minnesota, to Cary and Chelaine Villeneuve. From an early age, JoNae's parents knew she was a natural born entertainer always seeking to be the center of attention and constantly performing for video cameras and posing wherever there was a camera. JoNae would also produce and act in her own plays, music videos, and films with her own designed sets, props, music, and costumes for her family and stuffed animals. Soon later, JoNae was enrolled in dance, voice, and piano lessons in addition to, performing in countless community theatre productions and talent shows. JoNae soon moved to Windom, Minnesota where she resided for most of her elementary through high school graduation. JoNae was actively involved not only in drama and music, but also in numerous athletics, societies, and clubs which she held many leadership positions all while maintaining A Honor Roll status. However, her true love was performing on the stage and was constantly seen in musicals, plays, speech, choir ensembles, pop groups, concert band, jazz band, talent shows, and various other community entertainment events to name a few. After high school, JoNae attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a Theatre and Journalism double-major. However, after a semester she realized she wanted strictly a BFA acting degree so opted to take a semester off and study abroad in Paris, France. That January, JoNae moved to Paris where she studied at Le Sorbonne and the American University of Paris. Abroad she studied French language and culture along with Opera, theatre, and dance. While abroad, JoNae took full advantage of indulging in her second love, fashion. After much consideration, JoNae transferred to Minnesota State University, Mankato where she auditioned and was accepted into the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting program. While at MNSU, Mankato, JoNae appeared in countless plays and musicals while receiving rigorous training in acting. She also continued furthering her music and dance training taking private voice, theory, and dance classes as a part of her BFA training. Since graduating, magna cum laude, JoNae has appeared in several films, commercials and many professional theatre productions in both Los Angeles and the Minneapolis, Minnesota markets, including the renowned Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota. JoNae is living in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is actively working professionally on stage and screen in addition to, modeling for print, live events, and event hosting.
