Sabrina Daneé Campbell

Biography

Described as a "Quiet Storm" by her family and friends, Sabrina D. Campbell's love for laughter and storytelling motivates her passion for writing. A native of Washington, DC, Sabrina graduated from "The George Washington University" with a major in Radio-TV and minor in Journalism. After graduation, Sabrina worked as a production assistant for Black Entertainment Television (BET). Still unfulfilled creatively, she decided to relocate to Los Angeles, CA to realize her dream of becoming a television writer. Upon moving to LA, Sabrina acquired a "Teaching Credential in Adult Education" which allows her to teach ESL/English to adults and high school students. She also worked as a freelance talent coordinator on variety shows such as "Motown Live," "Essence Awards," and the "NAACP Image Awards." Sabrina eventually returned to BET as a full-time booker for "BET Tonight with Tavis Smiley" in Los Angeles. This position allowed Sabrina to pitch ideas and develop relationships, which led to her first freelance script from Executive Producer, Ralph Farquhar on the Disney animated cartoon, "The Proud Family." After leaving "BET Tonight with Tavis Smiley," Sabrina's tenacity landed her another freelance script with Ralph Farquahar for the Nickelodeon show "Just Jordan" starring Lil' JJ. As Sabrina continues to pursue her dreams, she stands on the belief that the "race is not given to the swift nor the strong, but to those that endure till the end!"
