Emma Jay

Emma was born and raised in Venice, CA. She graduated from NYU Tisch with a degree in Film and Television production. A script coordinator and writer's assistant by trade, Emma's other full time job is creating content of her own in the form of pilots and a web series she co-created called Work Bitchez. Her original pilot, Almost Olympian was featured on the 2019 WriteHer list, and her script Marriage Arrangement is a quarter-finalist in the Fresh Voices contest and a Semi Finalist in the Page Awards. She was also a semi finalist this year in the Sundance Episodic Lab for her newest pilot, Cat Lady. Emma's favorite things besides writing are surfing and traveling.
