Jeremy Lunt

Biography

A native of Mount Desert Island, Maine, Jeremy Lunt has loved movies since the age of six. Growing up in a resort community where inclement weather forced residents to stay inside during the winter months, Mr. Lunt became an avid film buff as child, receiving at age ten an A+ on a school project devoted to the science behind motion picture special effects. Mr. Lunt received his education at the University of Southern Maine, graduating with high honors in 2005 and receiving a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Media Studies, with a focus in production and design. After working extensively in local television, Jeremy Lunt arrived in Los Angeles in 2008. Originally intending to seek work as a technician in the motion picture industry, Mr. Lunt soon found himself winning a coveted internship position at a Hollywood-based producer's representation firm, where he met future collaborator Mark Belasco. In 2009 Mr. Lunt was hired as the Director of Submissions for Prowess Entertainment, another producer's representative. During 2009 Mr. Lunt also took time to work with Mr. Belasco on the motion picture Sinatra Club. Tasked with shooting, directing and editing a making-of documentary that would chronicle the tumultuous ten-year history of the project, he delivered a finished video that moved the film's screenwriter Salvatore Polisi to tears when he saw it. He also worked on Ubatz, a feature length documentary about Salvatore Polisi's turbulent life.
