Tony Valiani

Born in 1950 near the Salento coast Tony's love of music and film was apparent from an early age. When he was 12, he won a scholarship to a music school in Lecce however his parents wouldn't allow him to attend and instead, they sent him out to work on a building site to earn money for a dowry for his younger sister . He met and married Angela Jones When he was 20 and working in Switzerland and they went on to have to daughters, Deborah in 1971 who became a psychiatric nurse and Daniela in 1973 who became an author.
