Eduardo Bunster is a Chilean cinematographer and director.
He studied film in the "Chilean Filmschool" and has worked for over 17 years on films in South America, Asia and Canada in a variety of projects including fiction, documentary, animation and art films.
As a young student he won the "Kodak Filmschool Competition" prize for best cinematography 2 years in a row (for "Das Golem" and "The man from the suitcase").
His 2009 short film "D-construir" had won prizes for Best Film in "Fantastic Film Planet Festival" (Sidney) and "Cine B Festival" (Santiago)
He has collaborated with the Chilean artist Enrique Ramirez in the following art films: "A man who walks" featured in the 2017 Venice Biennale, "The Sleepers" and "To cross a wall".
He co-founded the production company "Quijote Films" in which he worked between 2009 and 2016.
Nowadays he works as a cinematographer and director in his new production company "Nabe Producciones".
