The Girl Next Door or the Professional Woman, Kareem has played roles as the supportive Girlfriend, modish Mother and dedicated Law Enforcement with New York and New Jersey's independent film community and universities.
A student of The New York Acting School for Film and Television, Kareem has studied Advance Scene Study and On-Camera Acting. She has frequented over a dozen workshops where she picked up techniques such as Meisner and Strasberg.
Her recent works include two Shorts: 'The Other Side of the Tracks', a Suburban Drama, in which she plays a Mother and Police Officer who is killed in the line of duty and 'Workplace Woes', a Comedy in which she plays a Lunch Thief, who conspires with her co-workers to eat other people's lunches.
Kareem's attributes transcend acting. She earned a B.A. in Pre-Law from Brooklyn College and a M.P.A. from Long Island University's, Brooklyn Campus. In addition, she has completed the Film/TV Producing program at New York Film Academy. A South Bronx native with a thirst for life and culture, she has traveled to countries in the Middle East, South America, Central America and over 34 cities in the United States.
Her belief is, an Actor's success lies with personal growth, commitment to the craft and being true to self.
