Matt Lauterbach

Matt Lauterbach has edited a rich variety of features, profiles, short documentaries, and other media for clients such as Kartemquin Films, the Kindling Group, and 371 Productions. Notable editing credits include Penelope: The Documentary (2012), @home (2013), American Arab (2013), Saving Mes Aynak (2014), Unbroken Glass (2016) and There Are Jews Here (2016). He also served as Post Production Manager (2012-2014) at Kartemquin Films during two of the most productive years in the organization's 50-year history. Matt is dedicated to making the arts and digital media accessible to those with low vision, hearing, or mobility. He co-directs Chicago's biennial ReelAbilities Disability Film Festival, and is producing a multimedia website called Beyond Blind: A Guide for the Sighted, which addresses common misconceptions and stereotypes about blindness.
