David Z. Lam

Born in Toronto, Canada. A Chinese Canadian Cinematographer. Originally studying Biology/Psychology (with a scholarship), he dropped out and went to film school at Ryerson University. He Trained and coached Northern Shaolin from 1996 - 2008 at All Masters Martial Arts Center. His father, Kim Lam, has a PHD in Analytical Chemistry, His mother, Edith Lam, has a Masters in Computer Science, and his elder brother, Christopher Lam, is a Radiologist at Sick Kids Hospital. He married Joann Lee in 2016.
