David Moran

David Moran was born in the city of Beer Sheva, Israel. In 1998 David went on to study film and TV at the Sapir College, in Sederot, Israel, one of the most prestigious film schools in the country. During his time in film school David has directed 2 short fiction films, and upon graduating started working as a sound recordist and assistant cameraman for Israeli Television Channel 1. in the year 2004 David became the artistic director at the Beer Sheva Cinematheque, a job that allowed him to develop the culture of quality film in the Negev Desert's capital city. After working as a reporter and videographer for online based TV daromtv.com and national cable channel "Teva Ha-Dvarim", David decided it was time to start working on what he really wants to do: direct films. For that aim, David started "Cinemoran Productions" in June 2009. During the year 2009 David produced and directed the documentary films "The Roman Empire" & "The Marquis of Bnei Brak", which are still shown in the main cinematheques in Israel. He is now in development of new projects, in both the documentary and fiction genres.
