Colin J. Pearce

Colin J. Pearce is from Adelaide, South Australia, worked in London, England, for two years followed by 18 years in Brisbane, Australia. He has had a major interest in photography all his life (including cutting-edge experimental work), and been involved in making movies for over 30 years, including four feature films, numerous shorts and music videos. He has been involved in a wide range of jobs in film production, including producer, production manager, unit manager, 1st AD, continuity, D.O.P, camera operator, camera assistant, focus puller, sound recordist, boom operator, gaffer, grip, runner, stills photographer, editor, colourist and publicity designer (including DVD authoring). He was manager of Dale Street Studios (sound, film and photography studios) in Port Adelaide. He is mainly recognised for his work as producer on the features Performance Anxiety (2008) and Hand Grenade (2017). Colin is a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate for Sony Australia, in addition to his filmmaking where usually he is sound recordist, camera assist and/or technical advisor (including Sony cameras).
