Yrsa Daley-Ward is a British actor in theatre, film and TV. She is the daughter of a Jamaican mother and Nigerian father and was brought up by her grandparents in Northern England. Daley-Ward originally toured as a singer in England and Europe in her late teens before going on to tour in rep theaters nationwide. She is well known for autobiographical novel, The Terrible, which received critical acclaim in the New Yorker, The New York Times, the Guardian, The Times, and several other publications.
