Ryan Logan is a director and editor living in Los Angeles. He has written and directed five award-winning short films, and was co-creator of the hit web series "Kam Kardashian". The series received rave reviews by the the LA Times, Chicago Tribune and Indiewire praising his comic timing and heralding the sharp satire as "the next Broad City".
His first short comedy, "The Single Mother", was shortlisted for the prestigious Iris Prize and Utah Short Film of the Year. It also won the first place Alternative Spirit prize at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. His other films have been in regular rotation on the festival circuit, including screenings by the British Film Institute, Outfest, Palm Springs Shortfest and the Chicago International Film Festival.
His third film, "The Queen of My Dreams", was featured in Chicago Artists' Month 2015, the Seattle International Film Festival Channel on Alaskan Airlines, and is widely available as part of the Chicagoland Shorts: Vol 1 by Full Spectrum Features and Kartemquin Films. It was also nominated for the Golden Hugo at the 2012 Chicago International Film Festival.
His most recent short film, "The First Session", celebrated it's world premiere at the 2015 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. The comedy stars Fawzia Mirza (Kam Kardashian), Parvesh Cheena (A to Z, Outsourced), and Mouzam Makkar (The Following, Chicago Fire). The film won the Best Short Film, Chicago's Choice award at the 2015 Chicago South Asian Film Festival, named one of Outfest's "Best of Fest", and was one of the seven finalists in the 2015 NBCUniversal Short Film Festival.
