Derek Conley

Derek was born in Sarasota, Florida. He began martial arts training at age 7 in Shotokan and has since expanded his repertoire to include historical fencing (rapier, sabre, etc) along with a multitude of other eastern and western weaponry over the past several decades. He has performed many standard acting roles as well as honing his improvisational theatre / comedy abilities. Derek spent time in the United States Marine Corps and afterwards pursued a career in law enforcement. He is trained in a myriad of firearms, CQB, and military / police tactics. Derek has been working closely with Battlestar Galactica's own Richard Hatch, martial artist/producer Michael Wehrhahn, legendary fight-master Anthony De Longis, and others.
