João Batista Melo

Joao Batista Melo was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in 1960. He is a filmmaker and a novel and short stories writer. His books won some of main Brazilian literary awards. His movies were selected for several festivals around the world. "Tampinha" (Little Cap) won Best Fiction Short award at International Film Festival For Children & Youth Divercine.
