Emily Nash Gray was born and raised in La Grande, Oregon. She is the fourth daughter of Ron and Peggy Nash.
Emily started acting at the age of 4. Her very first acting role came in the 3rd grade as Glinda in "The Wizard of Oz". She continued to act during her summers at the local universities summer theatre program and in various high school productions at her local high school. Emily graduated high school early in 1998 and enrolled at Eastern Oregon University where she graduated with her Bachelors degree in Theatre in 2003.
Theatre credits include: Olivia in William Shakespeare' "Twelfth Night", Anna in Patrick Marber' "Closer", Sarah in Wallace Kirkman' "Women and Wallace", Hermione in Shakespeare' "A Winters Tale" and Paula in María Irene Fornés' "Fefu and Her Friends", Linda Lodge in "Move Over Mrs. Markham", originating the role of Miss Muffet in "Rhymes Of Passion", Frenchi in "Cabaret", and Adriana in "Comedy of Errors".
