Krystal Wight Armstrong is a Production Designer and Cinematic Artist in every sense of the name. Having formal training in both Digital Media Arts emphasizing Cinema, Graphic Design, and StageCraft, she strives to make pictures beautiful whether it be in camera or on set.
Krystal has over 7 years professional experience in digital filmmaking, and brings a great eye for aesthetic detail & composition to everything she does. She grew up between Texas and Arizona, always raised with great appreciation for the arts and the natural world. In addition to filmmaking she also has life-long experience in Musical Theatre, Drama, Stage-craft, Choir, Dance, Painting, Drawing, and Designing. She loves wildlife, art, reading, and creating things by hand. Krystal has also recently acquired a love and skill for ScreenPrinting - the perfect mix of Graphic Design and her love of creating tangible art by hand. In her spare time she enjoys creating graphic art for friends & family in the form of custom stationery, invitations, cards, and personal decorative art.
She lives with her Husband, Director/Producer Andrew Armstrong III, and her current endeavors are to work on wildlife documentaries, and/or design & build on the sets of television/film productions in the fantasy genre. Designing and hand-building sets that bring audiences to new and foreign environments, is her passion for the narrative productions she works on.
