Vincenzo Cosentino is an award winning filmmaker (director/writer/editor), who began his filmmaking career in 2007. Some of his short films have been recognized with official selections and awards, including top prize in the "Flip Video Contest" at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 for his short film "The Flip Trip". After 13 (self-produced) short films he also produced and directed his first feature film named "Handy", based on the same story of one of his short films. The particularity of the movie "Handy" was that most of the movie was made by Vincenzo Cosentino himself with almost no budget. With no budget available, Cosentino could not afford a proper filmmaking crew and that was why he ended up doing most of the movie by himself, doing the Writing/Directing/Editing/Photograpy/visual effects/set and costume design, finishing the movie after 4 years. The music of the movie Handy was then made by Sveinung Nygaard and the final audio mix was then made by Gianfranco Tortora (audio engineer).
