Kirra Kiss

After graduating high school, she went to school full time pursuing her cosmetology license. Although not a native to Ohio, this was where she resided at the time. After obtaining her license to practice cosmetology, she went back to school full-time where she eventually obtained her bachelors degree. Her early life was that of a typical young girl. Some personal events in her teen years occurred, and for a brief time was connected with the wrong individuals. These individuals preyed on young women, taking advantage of them as if they were disposable and held no value as human beings. Seeking out young women in their most vulnerable state. Thankfully that brief moment in her life didn't last long. She made it out alive physically, but spending years repairing her soul and worth. She, like many young women who experienced trauma during childhood, developed unhealthy coping mechanisms. Seeking validation, love, acceptance. The story has a happy ending though. This same girl decided to dedicate her life to helping others. The sick, lost, and broken. Helping to save other young girls from the type of evil she once experienced. Now at almost 34, she doesn't ask for respect and to be treated with human decency, it is now a demand. She may not have had the strength to reclaim her life then, but she does now. If I could say anything to my former self I would tell her, "everything is going to be ok, and one day you're going to do amazing things for the world."
