Biography

Theatrical training and touring with theatre companies such as The National Youth Theatre and 'Theatre of the oppressed' companies such as African Tiata Fahodzi and Cardboard Citizens afforded him a solid foundation. His first television appearance was a BBC adaption of emotionally charged theatre production The Foolish Young Man (2007) starring David Harewood, (Blood Diamond (2006),The Merchant of Venice (2004). It was whilst playing the domestically abusive lead in 'The Boys' (2008)at the National Theatre that he garnered interest. He subsequently auditioned and given his first break by Dan Hubbard as the sadistic nemesis 'Carl' to Michael Caine in Brit cult thriller Harry Brown (2009) starring Michael Caine and Emily Mortimer.
