Johnny Sumelj

Johnny Sumelj is an Australian stage and screen actor. He was born and raised in Wollongong, New South Wales, and attended Edmund Rice College where he excelled in visual arts and drama. After high school he went on to study acting for three years at UOW, graduating in 2003, where he gained tutelage from some of the industry's most notable coaches. In September 2014 Johnny became a founding member of the Wollongong Theatre Company and was cast as the Duke of Cornwall in their inaugural production of 'Lear', furthering his recognition as a sterling performer.
