Jay Mattsson

Jay Mattsson grew up in Minnesota and has been the casting director at Hedquist Productions since February 1998. He was the casting director for Spider-Woman, Agent of S.W.O.R.D. (2009) and was Associate Producer & Production Manager for Sister Patchouli (2008). Jay also worked as an associate producer for Hawthorne Communications, a long-form TV production company now based in Los Angeles and called Hawthorne Advertising. At Hawthorne he worked on 30-minute TV commercials, including Time Life Music's "Classic Rock" (hosted on-camera by Mark Goodman) and "Air Power" for Time Life Videos (hosted on-camera by Tom Skerritt). Both commercials aired nationwide on cable & broadcast TV in 1991.
