Fernando Pinheiro

Fernando Pinheiro was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil 1977. He is a director, producer, and screenwriter, as well as a film technician and animation researcher in 2D and 3D. He studied Fine Arts at the school of Guignard UEMG (Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais). Fernando's first short film, A Garota (The Kid, 2006) was accepted to 158 film festivals in 42 countries and won several awards. Shortly thereafter, directed two more films, Bons sonhos (Good Dreams) and Chapter VX:12. Fernando's latest project, Ser Humano (Human Being) will be released in 2009.
