Biography

Marie-Hélène Tremblay, also known as Marie, the daughter of Quebec Painter Gilles Tremblay and daughter of Danielle Giguere comes from a long line of artistic talent. A painter and writer, Marie has studied at the prestigious Université Du Quebec à Montréal obtaining her Masters in French Literature and Semiotics. Marie has written several short stories, both fiction and non-fiction as well as co-writer alongside her partner T.M. Langseth with 'Photo Manipulation' and teaming up again with well known composer Harry Manfredini to co-write 'Stingy Jack', a supernatural/horror feature set to begin production in the fall of 2009. Marie's published works include 'S'il suffisait d'aimer' in Quebec's Le Buffet a collection of creative works by some of Quebec's up-an-coming writers as well as many other short stories catering to primarily French Quebec. Marie is hard at work writing another feature length horror tentatively titled 'I'm Not Dead!', that deals with the paranormal, from the perspective of 'the other side'. She also produced 'Photo Manipulation' giving her a first credit behind the camera.
