Cody Parr

Cody was born and raised in the small town of McMinnville, Oregon. It wasn't until he was presented with the opportunity to act professionally in Los Angeles, while attending college at Oregon State University, that he began to pursue his childhood dream. With no money and only a car to his name, Cody packed up and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Having never acted a day in his life and only being in LA for less than 2 months, Cody landed his very first audition for the Lead role as 'Anthony' in the Feature Film, "Cruisin". Not only is Cody a talented actor, but in between his acting roles, Cody pursues a career in Songwriting and as a Professional Recording Artist. His genres... Hip Hop, Pop, and RnB. You can find him, aka Fresh, performing at Clubs and Venues up and down the West Coast on any given night. Cody's music was so well accepted, that upon landing his second leading role in the TV Movie "Rising Above", the writers of the show shaped Cody's character around his musical persona and included his music and real life poetry into the final shooting script. Cody has been apart of 2 TV Movies ("Rising Above" & "Coyotes"), both of which he plays the Leading Male Character and has gained recognition for both performances from the New York Television Festival (2010 & 2011). Cody continues to live in Los Angeles and live out his childhood fantasies on the Big Screen and on the Main Stage.
