Filip Syczynski

Director, DoP and Scriptwriter. Born in Poland, spent his childhood in Germany. He had been studying Art for two years in Krakow, but he finally decided to take up Film/TV studies at the ECA in Edinburgh, which he completed in 2009. He has shot over 25 films, which have been shown at the most prestigious film festivals around the world (Cannes, Sundance, Edinburgh) and received many awards (BAFTA). He has collaborated with such directors as Adrian McDowell and David Lynch. Filip is also the author of many short and feature length scripts.
