Ace Salisbury is an internationally award-winning film director based in New York City. Influenced by bizarre animation from the early '90s and industrial urban decay, his fascination with all things surreal, comedic, and unsettling has led him to develop a unique style best described as a hybrid of film and cartoon. In 2010 he won Best Short Film at Zero Film Festival New York for his faux French New Wave film "Headless Nun on a Swing Set that is on Fire." In 2012 he won Best Music Video at the Toronto Independent Film Festival for "Bend Your Back." In 2013 he won an Award of Excellence at the Best Shorts Film Festival in LaJolla, California for his short film "Ctrl Shift." As of 2015 he is in production on "Everything's O.K.," a digital series about the apocalypse caused by fracking.
