Daniel Kepler

Born in Hollywood, California, to a career film technician at Technicolor and photography teacher, you could say Daniel Kepler was birthed into the film medium. While he grew up participating in mostly stage plays, he made his first film "Venganza", a 15-minute screenplay which he then translated in to Spanish for a school project. He attended film school in Pasadena, as well as Northridge, with a focus on Direction and Cinematography. Immediately following college, Daniel took post on his first studio feature "The Dark Knight Rises" as the large format (IMAX) Dailies Coordinator. After "Rises" wrapped, he took post at Picture Mill, a main title graphics house, where he coordinated several notable Feature Main, Main on Ends, trailers, and produced four quarters of HBO commercial campaigns. He now resides in Santa Monica working at Luma Pictures as a Technical Coordinator and VFX Editor for Hollywood's flagship studio films.
