Melissa Cole received her B.A. in journalism and politics from New York University. A graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and Peoples Improv Theater improvisation training programs in New York, Cole was a finalist in the 2015 NBC & Upright Citizens Brigade Diversity Showcase.
Cole has received critical acclaim for her one-woman comedic stage play "Mo-to-the-oncle," which she also wrote. Since its New York debut in 2016, the production has been seen in cities nationally, and won Cole the Best Actress award at the 2017 Pittsburgh Fringe Festival.
