Eugenia Low

Biography

Eugenia is a Singaporean-born, British East Asian actor of Chinese heritage based in London, UK. Warm-hearted, grounded and endearingly quirky in comedic roles, she is equally at home playing driven, passionate and protective authority figures and often plays caring, maternal and professional types. In 2017, she was part of BBC Radio 4's groundbreaking audio drama 'Quake', which won Silver for Best New Show at the 2017 Audio and Radio Industry Awards with feedback describing it as "world class & brilliantly executed". She also appeared in Ian Pons Jewell's hilarious award-winning 'I Love Doing Dishes' commercial for Finish dishwasher tablets. She regularly plays in cue-script Shakespeare performances with ShakeScene Shakespeare in London and is a member of the international theatre ensemble, [Foreign Affairs]. Having always been a bit of a chameleon, Eugenia has experienced the life of an ivory-tower Oxford academic (with a doctorate in Modern History from St John's College, Oxford) and a big-city corporate lawyer in London, before finding her forever-home in acting. She is a natural, intuitive problem-solver who applies her skills considerately and efficiently, avoiding fuss at all costs.
