Biography

In 2005, after studying film directing at the Paris Sorbonne University, he assists the director of the feature film "The Serpent" (Fidélité Films). In 2008, at only 23, he became one of the founders of the production company Adastra Films. The same year, he directs and produces his first short film, "The Danaïdes' Barrel" selected in two dozen countries and more than 40 international festivals. He works as an Artistic Director on different corporate films and completes his second short film "The Assistant" in 2012 (selected in Palm Springs and awarded 1st Prize at Helvetia French Film Festival). His third short film "Falling Prey" is bought by French National Tv Network - Frence Télévisions. David Guiraud has also edited the feature "Brides" by Tinatin Kajrishvili, awarded in 2014 at the Berlinale - Panorama section and selected to international festivals including Tribeca and Busan.
