Biography

Multi-talented, creative and bilingual, Hessed Honstein, brings significant experience to the fields of acting, modeling and television hosting, along with a unique point of view to communications projects. Her charisma, focused and determined character, vibrant personality, and passion for the performing arts has led Hessed on a path to international success. Born in Mexico on December 18, Hessed moved to the United States when she was 8 years old, and at age 18 she began her professional modeling career doing runway fashion shows, print work and brand ambassador work for local and national brands like Mercedes Benz, Macy's, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Academy Sports and Outdoors, among others. Since then, Hessed developed a fascination for the performing arts and has since acted in numerous films, commercials and corporate industrial videos. Additionally, she has done extensive voice-over work, and has also written and hosted a number of television shows including Daily Delivery, Hollywood In Houston and Bing Crosby Special Tribute. Hessed also co-hosted the internationally acclaimed TV show, Ritmo Latino, which is syndicated in over 48 markets in the U.S. and Latin America, where she interviewed various Latin artists including five time Grammy Award Winning Artist Julieta Venegas. She has also hosted a number of Internet projects and has also appeared as a guest on CBS' Great Day Houston. In addition to performing, editing and producing projects, Hessed also teaches Acting, Modeling, Teleprompter and Ear Prompter to aspiring young actors and models. Hessed is dedicated to personal self-development and is always striving to perfect her craft. She has studied with some of the major leaders in her field, both in Los Angeles & New York City - including Joe Palese, founder of The Actor Space in Los Angeles; Hollywood Talent manager and casting director Marki Costello; Patricia Stark, who has worked as the exclusive communications coach for The Oprah Winfrey Network, VH1 and E! Entertainment; And Michael Rosenblum, Television Producer, Video Journalist and CEO at the Travel Channel Academy in Washington, DC., who has trained journalists for Voices of America, The New York Times and The BBC News. With her bi-cultural upbringing, inquisitive and playful disposition, and genuine interest in cultures and the personalities they shape, Hessed is a natural choice for working on projects with a global perspective. Her experience has contributed to her ability to talk to people from many backgrounds and feel at home anywhere in the world. Hessed volunteers for the American Heart Association, The Fanatical Change Foundation and is a representative for GiveForward. In her spare time, Hessed enjoys traveling the world and striking up conversations with strangers, spending time with friends, dancing and reading.
