Born in Beaumont, TX, raised in southern Arkansas, Danny Tate is an award winning songwriter and former Virgin Records recording artist. He's written songs recorded by Jeff Healey, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tim McGraw, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Smithereens, Diesel, Nelson, David Lee Murphy, Billy Ray Cyrus, Doro Pesch, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Patti LaBelle and many more. His songs have also appeared in the movie soundtracks "Boys Don't Cry", "How To Make An American Quilt", "3000 Miles to Graceland", and more. NSAI Rock Song of the Year 1998, 1999, 2000.
