Edson Ferreira

Edson Ferreira was born in Brasília, on August 15, 1972. He is a Brazilian actor, filmmaker, and screenwriter. His works as an actor include projects for cinema and advertising. "A mesa no Deserto" is his most prominent short film, which has been selected to over fifty film festivals and it has won ten international awards. Ferreira also participated in the series "Cidinha da Jeito" (2019) and "Chamada a Cobrar" (2021), which he directed as well. "Entreturnos" (2014), a co-production with Canal Brasil and Now streaming, is his first work as a director. In 2022 he will release the documentary "Sub" and, in 2023, the motion picture "Areia", in which he acts and directs.
