Marcela Mariz

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Marcela is a writer, producer, director and actress who resides in Southern California. She started her acting career on the stage when she was 13, discovering her passion for storytelling. As a playwright, she had her first play produced at the age of 16 and went on to complete more than twenty theater commissioned plays. After graduating from law school, Marcela moved to New York to further her proficiency in the performing arts and scene study analysis. She later made her move to the West Coast, where she began to make her transition from theater to movies.
