Gisela Adisa

Gisela Adisa was born in New Jersey to Caribbean and West African immigrants. At university, her focus was Drama and African-American Studies; she has performed on Broadway and on tour. Gisela is a series regular in the comedy series 'Upcode', which won Best TV Pilot at both the 2021 Tokyo Short and the Roma Film Festivals. She is also featured in the lead role as Rachel in the film, 'Shield'. Gisela enjoys volunteering for various organizations tied to the arts, most notably Broadway Inspirational Voices, the non-profit organization which received the Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre award.
