Biography

Margaux Sky was on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004 when Oprah discovered Margaux as creator of "The best sandwich in America". Margaux was also on The Food Network Sandwich Challenge show in 2007. She is the author of the Lana Cloud Murder Mystery series of which book one Beautiful Dead Bella - A Lana Cloud Murder Mystery was published in 2010 on Smashwords. Book two of the series Fancy Bones - A Lana Cloud Murder Mystery is due for release in January of 2012. Margaux is the author of Beautiful Breads & Fabulous Fillings: The Best Sandwiches In America and the Eight Eats On The Cheap Series that includes Eight Eats On The Cheap Fabulous Broccoli, Eight Eats On The Cheap Fabulous Chicken, Eight Eats On The Cheap Fabulous French Bread and many more in line. She is the author of Pepper, Princess and Petey - a children's books series that includes Pepper's Romp Around Town, Petey Soars the Wild Blue Yonder and Princess and the Tom Cat. She is the author of a new book series - Constance Cairn - the first book Constance Cairn at the Battle of Gilden Downs is a fantastical look at life in the outer world. As well as being an accomplished chef, baker, and author of books, Margaux is an accomplished musician and songwriter. Her CD "Start Livin' It Right" is a unique peek into the musical makings of this talented woman. She's worked with some of the best musicians in the business including guitarist Ernie Denov, saxophonist Steve Eisen, and arranger Craig Williams. Margaux is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She now lives on the Central Coast of California near Santa Barbara. She is the executive chef at Devereux Foundation, California.
