Biography

Domingos was born and raised in Recife (Pernambuco State, Brazil) ,one of the most important cities on the Brazilian Northeast, a vibrant and cultural town ,birthplace to some of the most influential artists in the country. Since an early age,Domingos has always been divided between two passions: football(soccer) and the theatre, playing for the under-18 teams of Santa Cruz F.C during his teen years. He only decided to put football completely aside and return to the theatre at the age of 19,almost immediately being invited to be part of important local productions of the TAP (traditional theatre company of the Brazilian Northeast). In April 2002,then aged 20 getting accepted into the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School conservatory program, graduating from it by the end of 2005 at the top his class. In the beginning of 2006 Domingos headed back to Brazil to resume his professional career. Based himself in São Paulo, he has, since then, been constantly working as an actor and most recently as a screenwriter and producer. Being awarded several times for screen credits such as the short film Match(wrote/produced by himself) and the gritty indie TV series África da Sorte directed by Renata Pinheiro, to name a few of his most recent accolades.
