Denise Rogers

Denise Rogers was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her parents made sure that their children attended cultural events as well as creative ones. Rogers became a member of the Freedom Theatre family after auditioning while she was in junior high school. The training the theatre provided nurtured her love for acting. Rogers attended Syracuse University and graduated with a BFA degree in acting and directing. She is an active member of New York Women In Film &Television where she created the New Works Lab and lead the group for four years.
