Robin DeKleine-Stimpson

Biography

Growing up in a small town and the daughter of a continuously working rock and roll musician, Robin caught the performing bug at a very young age. She mainly focused on music by playing piano, saxophone and developing her singing voice, but at York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she was introduced to the worlds of theatre and dance. After graduating from York University, Robin went on to get a bachelor of Education in Music, with a side focus in teaching drama and modern dance in the high school system in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Quickly realizing that by teaching, she lacked the external energy to do her own performances, she stopped teaching and got a "day job" which allowed her to become very involved in Community Theatre and to front the Cover Band "No Borders" for a couple of years. Robin still has her "day job" but would like to branch into the world of film acting, mostly for the experience as she still likes to come home to her relatively "normal" life with her husband, dog, two cats and a whole lot o' fish in Verona, Ontario, Canada.
