Jonathan Hsu

Jonathan Hsu started producing during his years at NYU. He worked his way from production assistant to location manager to line producer. Finding success in shooting commercials, he was awarded multiple AICP honors for the Student and Spec commercial categories leading to an internship in the broadcast production department of Arnold Boston with the Multicultural Advertising Internship Program. After college, he went on to produce at boutique production companies and also commercial production companies at Partizan, Radical Media, Gorgeous, and MJZ. He started with producing non-union branded content and music videos while slowly building his network enough to start his own production services company Hsubox Productions Inc. Now with a team of producer, he produces a wide array of award winning work including commercials, branded, social media, VR/360, Live broadcast/streaming, and more. While juggling a full time job as a commercial producer, he also crafts short films such as his latest (2017) "I Don't Make the Rules" and also helps his fellow filmmakers as an associate producer for their features. He is currently writing his sci-fi feature "Seed of Eden"(2017) and developing in the sci-fi/thriller/horror genres.
