Antony Petrou

Antony is an award winning Cypriot filmmaker based in London. In 2014 Antony directed and produced the critically acclaimed 'We Are Monster', which was nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film as part of the official selection at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. We Are Monster was released theatrical in the UK and US prior to being acquired by Netflix in April 2016. Antony's recent short films, The Sound and A.B... Have been official selections in over 40-film festivals world wide including, Oscar Nominated and European Film Academy qualifying festivals, With 10 wins so far including, Best Director, Best Film, Best Sound and Best Cinematography. Antony is currently in development on his next feature project and can otherwise be found squirrelling away on something small and weird on the side.
