Sera Bailey

Sera was born Sarah Melissa Grimm to an American father and an Australian mother in Brisbane, Australia. Her parents, Jack and Beverly, met in Australia while Jack was on R and R leave whilst in the Marines. Bev died of ovarian cancer in July 07, causing a lot of grief and pain for Sera but thus inspiring her to be even more diligent in her pursuit of her dreams and goals. She has an older brother, Justin and many other relatives both here in the US and in Australia. Sera knew from a very early age she had found her calling in acting and spent several years studying privately with a speech and drama teacher. It was not until her twenties, however, that she really began to seriously pursue acting as a career and did several local theatre productions while in Australia. Prior to her move to Los Angeles, Sera also spent a few years in Las Vegas where she was a casino dealer for a spell and married her long-time boyfriend Anthony, also an Australian. She finally made the big 'leap" in 2006 and since then has been extremely busy with her classes at Stella Adler. In addition, Sera has also trained in Improv at Second City and I. O. West. She has been a part of a Sundance film "Shadowman", several shorts, some theatre and independent films and is slowly but very assuredly, gaining recognition and making her own way. A dedicated and passionate actor, Sera treats every project with equal energy and enthusiasm and is never satisfied until she has done her absolute best. The future for her is extremely bright and she can't wait to see what it holds in store for her.
