Ian Peters

Ian Peters was born on July 1, 1981 in Morristown, New Jersey, USA as Ian Michael Peters. He is known for his work on Star Trek New Voyages: Phase II (2004), Starship Farragut (2007) and Recently Deceased (2006). Dr. Peters is a media culture scholar who studies the relationship between media and society and how these materials are incorporated into our sense of self. His areas of research include film and television advertising/marketing, media consumption, and the formation and development of fan cultures. He is presently a Professor of Communication at Brenau University.
