Growing up on the Canadian Prairies in Calgary, Alberta, Alison Wandzura found her first creative outlet as a dancer. She graduated from the University of Calgary with degrees in Theatre and Marketing, before relocating to Vancouver, British Columbia, to work in film and television in 2010.
Alison plays a recurring role in the new Netflix comedy series The Healing Powers of Dude, and her past on-screen work includes prominent roles in major network and cable series' including Van Helsing (SyFy) and The Crossing (ABC).
In addition to film and television, Alison has given award-winning performances on stage in productions of Steel Magnolias, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Messiah on the Frigidaire. She is a founding member of ARTery Collective, an independent theatre company in Vancouver, British Columbia.
