Atanas Bakalov

Atanas Bakalov is a filmmaker born and raised in Bulgaria. He relocated to the United States in his teens, and the academic and career trajectory he has followed since speak to his diverse interests and multifaceted background. Atanas holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Psychology and a Master's in Applied Linguistics. After graduating from college, he has spent years working at the intersection of education and the media arts and has directed several short films.
