Biography

Irfaan Fredericks is one of the most sought-after film and television producers based in South Africa. He started his career as a cable basher in 2003 and worked his way up to produce and facilitate prolific independent films with A list talent. Irfaan was the executive producer on Then Came You (2018), starring Asa Butterfield and directed by Peter Hutchings. Irfaan was a producer on The Pirates of Somalia (2017), starring Al Pacino and Melanie Griffith with Evan Peters. Bryan Buckley directed the film. Irfaan was the African facilitation producer on Uncut Gems (2019), starring Adam Sandler and directed by Benny Safdie and Josh Safdie. The studio behind Uncut Gems is A24. He has line produced on the international TV series, SAF3 (2013), from the creators of Baywatch, starring Dolph Lundgren. Irfaan has worked on numerous television commercials and segments of various international TV series, such as Cosmos and Expedition Unknown as a production manager.
